Ingredients

  • 1 kg of fresh beef suitable for long cooking
  •  4 tablespoons oil
  •  2 fresh garlic heads
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon hot chilli flakes
  •  1 large peeled onion and cut into strips
  •  2 Rosemary stalk  4 Thyme stalk
  •  salt and pepper to taste
  •  2 glasses of boiled water

Let's do it!

Preheat oven to 380 f degrees

Cut the meat into medium-sized cubes.

Add the oil on a pot or saucepan that fits into the oven over medium heat.

Add the meat.  Fry the meat until golden.

Add the onion, garlic and herbs,  continue to cook few more minutes, about 3 minutes until golden brown.

Add the paprika and mix well. Pour the boiled water.

Cook for fifteen minutes on medium-high and then place the pot with a cover in the oven for two hours.

Every 30 minutes check the dish if the sauce evaporated add boiling water.
