Ingredients

  • 350 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of soft butter
  •  2 eggs yolks
  •  30 ml milk (about 5 tablespoons)
  •  3 tablespoons of sugar
  •  1 vanilla sugar (10 grams)
  •  10 grams of dry yeast
  •  A little milk to brush
  •  Sugar powder for decoration

Let's do it!

In a bowl place the flour, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, yeast, and egg’s yolks into the mixer bowl.  Stir well until uniform and dough is obtained.
Let the dough stand for about an hour and a half or until it has doubled its volume.
Divide the dough in half and roll each portion into 0.5 cm thick.
Using a glass or ring of equal diameter, make one circle and place a second circle on top, with the other covering half of the first.  Place one more circle that will also cover half of the other leaf you have placed

Roll the three leaves together and with the knife cut in the center and make two flowers

Heat the oven 375 f degrees
Place a few flowers dough in a muffin baking tray ( like in the picture) brush with a little milk and allow 15 minutes to slightly rise. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown, remove from oven and sprinkle with some powdered sugar.
